sick sick sick....

sigh.... feeling terrible yesterday at work. Only found that I had high fever when I went to see the doctor at night. Gotten a MC for today, otherwise I would have to go to work. Damn shitty when it's officially 5 day week, but have been going back to work about 3 out of 4 saturdays in a month. And no OT pay some more, damn damn damn...

Anyway, since I'm at home and had some time before going back to bed. Here's a picture of the cake I ordered for my son. Not bad for those who are looking for cakes which are not too sweet. I've ordered it at ecreative, they have tons of different designs plus amazing 3D cakes! Well enough advertising them... tell them to send me complimentary cakes if you are going to order from them. hahahh...

So much for now... time to zzz...

Getting started...

Starting post... hmm... How my blog name came about?

bals.vin.net

It's from the 2 words Balsamic and Vinegar.
Balsamic Vinegar - That's the vinegar I liked so much... I got hooked on it eversince I came to know about it many years ago while I was studying in Perth, Australia.

To what I understand, balsamic vinegar needs a minimum age of 10 years. The better tasting balsamic vinegars are aged between 25 and 50 years. The age of the vinegar is divided into 3 groups; young – from 3 to 5 years maturation; middle aged 6 to 12 years and the highly prized very old which is at least 12 years and up to 150 years old.

More info and history can be found at Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
